We are excited to introduce a new highlight in our product range:
Charred wood wall panels in two unique tones: Espresso and Latte
Inspired by craftsmanship, nature, and (just a little bit) coffee humor, these panels bring both elegance and durability to your interiors and exteriors.

What is Charred Wood?
Charred wood is timber that has been intentionally surface-burned with fire to create a distinctive texture, rich color, and natural protection. This technique, most widely known as Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi, originates from Japan. The boards are:
- Charred
- Cooled
- Cleaned
- Finished with protective coatings
The result? Wood that not only looks striking but also naturally resists moisture, insects, and decay.

Espresso & Latte – A Stylish Duo
Wall Panel “Espresso”

Made of solid tongue-and-groove wood boards, treated with the Shou Sugi Ban technique for a bold, textured finish. Sealed with DRYWOOD WOODSTAIN BC, a water-based pigmented coating system, it achieves the deep, rich Espresso tone. Perfect for an elegant and timeless feature wall.
Wall Panel “Latte”

Finished in a soft, warm Latte tone, these panels offer brightness while keeping a natural, refined look. Ideal for both contemporary interiors and cozy exterior spaces.
A Little Joke from Our Workshop: To achieve the final tones, we say we simply pour a cup of coffee over the boards.
Of course, the real secret is still the traditional charring technique combined with modern protective finishes. But a bit of humor always makes the craft even more enjoyable.
Why Choose Charred Wood Panels?
